About Us

Dunrovin’s mission is to offer an encounter with Christ for every person, particularly for underserved youth, through exceptional hospitality* in the Catholic Lasallian tradition.

*Hospitality encompasses the beauty of the setting, the homey comfort of the buildings, the nourishing food, and God’s love as demonstrated by the tender care of the staff.

Located on the beautiful woodland shore of the Saint Croix River, since our first retreats for high school boys in 1964, Dunrovin has been a “home away from home” for people of all ages. Dunrovin was built on the shoulders of the De La Salle Christian Brothers; read more about our rich history.

As a non-profit organization, much of our profit directly supports retreats for low-income students. Therefore, when you rent a cabin or attend with a group retreat, you directly impact not only your own life but also the life of an underserved child.

In addition, generous donors provide the backbone of funding for our youth programs.
