“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” ― Mother Teresa
As holiday season approaches we prepare to give in many ways. From giving thanks on Thanksgiving to volunteering for the Salvation Army, the next few months are all about giving and receiving.
At Dunrovin, we love giving. We were established in order to give back to the community, provide a space for gatherings, and cultivate youth into leaders and believers. Our Retreat Center’s purpose is to support the community, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Way back in 1963, Dunrovin Christian Brothers Retreat Center was made possible purely thanks to the generous gifts of others. Without donations and fundraisers, Dunrovin would not have been created or maintained throughout the years.
This month’s blog is promoting Dunrovin directly, because the generous gifts of people like you allow Dunrovin to give back to others – whether we are serving students, church organizations, or retreat groups. Please consider participating in our two upcoming events, and thank you in advance for your generosity!

#GivingTuesday
Our second event is actually a global day of giving on Tuesday, December 1. #GivingTuesday began in 2012, and has since grown to involve over 30,000 partners in 68 countries. This year, Dunrovin would like to challenge you to give back in any way you can – give to your family, your community, and your world! “As a global movement, #GivingTuesday unites countries around the world by sharing our capacity to care for and empower one another.” – Learn more at www.givingtuesday.org.
